Mantan Guru JIS (Jakarta International School) Pernah Perkosa 90 Anak!

Sudah bayarannya mahal, yaitu ratusan juta rupiah per tahun, ternyata rawan perkosaan. Selain kasus anak2 TK JIS (Jakarta International School) yang diperkosa petugas kebersihan sehingga trauma takut ke kamar mandi sendiri, ternyata mantan guru JIS (Jakarta International School) ada yang pernah memperkosa 90 anak! 

FBI menyatakan mereka kini sedang menangani salah satu kasus kekerasan seksual terburuk yang menimpa anak. Pelakunya William James Vahey, (64 tahun) asal South Carolina. FBI menduga Vahey sudah memperkosa 90 anak. Jumlah ini bahkan diperkirakan lebih banyak lagi. Vahey berprofesi sebagai guru. Celakanya, Vahey pernah menjadi staf pengajar di Jakarta International School (JIS).

Sex itu adalah satu kebutuhan biologis yang harus dipenuhi minimal sebulan sekali. Kebayang tidak bagaimana Vahey yang mengajar di Jakarta International School selama 10 tahun dari 1992-2002? Kira2 berapa banyak murid JIS yang dia perkosa?

Anak TK yang umur 6 tahun karena terlalu kecil mungkin akan terlihat jika dia diperkosa. Tapi anak SD atau SMP yang sudah berumur 10-15 tahun, saat diperkosa mungkin hanya diam dan malu.

FBI menemukan foto2 porno anak-anak umur 12-14 tahun (kemungkinan anak2 sekolah). Anak2 tsb difoto dalam keadaan tidak sadar / pengaruh obat bius.

Sekolah jika sudah jadi bisnis di mana jumlah kelas, jumlah guru, dan jumlah murid terlalu banyak akhirnya sulit dikontrol oleh kepala sekolahnya. Jika 6 kelas di mana setiap kelas ada 30 murid dan ada 3 tingkat misalnya, maka ada 540 murid. Kepala sekolahnya mungkin tidak hafal / tidak tahu nama-nama murid yang dia bina.

Lebih bagus sekolah kecil dengan 1-2 kelas di mana setiap kelas jumlah murid kurang dari 30 orang. Saat murid ada yang murung, Gurunya tahu dan segera bertanya apakah si anak sedang sakit. Nah jika besar seperti JIS, jangankan murid sakit. Muridnya diperkosa berkali-kali pun guru dan kepala sekolahnya pada tidak tahu.

Mandiri? Jika diperkosa dan trauma begitu akhirnya malah hancur.

FBI investigating suspected serial child molester who worked in US schools around the world

The storage device contained pornographic images of at least 90 boys, ages 12 to 14, who appeared to be drugged and unconscious, the FBI said.

Vahey's career included posts at the Tehran American School in Iran from 1972-73; the American Community School of Beirut in Lebanon, 1973-75; the American School of Madrid in Spain, 1975-76; the Passargad School in Ahwaz, Iran, 1976-78; the American Community School in Athens, Greece, 1978-80; the Saudi Aramco Schools in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, 1980-92; the Jakarta International School in Indonesia, 1992-2002; the Escuela Campo Alegre in Caracas, Venezuela, 2002-09; and the Southbank International School in London, 2009-2013. He coached boys basketball at several schools, the FBI said.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking the public’s assistance to identify alleged victims of a suspected international child predator. William James Vahey, a 64-year-old U.S. citizen, was a suspect in an international sex crimes investigation who committed suicide on March 21, 2014. His alleged victims were American and international students enrolled in private schools abroad where Vahey taught, beginning in 1972.

A USB thumb drive belonging to Vahey and provided to the FBI revealed pornographic images of minor males, approximately 12 to 14 years old, who appeared to be asleep or unconscious. The images were captioned with locations and dates that referenced places Vahey had previously traveled with students. When Vahey was confronted about the images, he reportedly admitted molesting boys throughout his entire life and said he gave the minors sleeping pills prior to the molestation.

FBI agents have reviewed photographs dating back to 2008 that depict at least 90 alleged victims. The FBI is seeking to notify individuals of the ongoing investigation and encourage additional alleged victims to come forward.

Vahey, who maintained residences in London and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, traveled extensively and internationally during the past four decades, working as a middle school and high school teacher at several American international schools in at least nine different countries. He taught history, geography, and social studies, and also coached junior varsity and basketball teams for boys. He regularly accompanied students on overnight field trips.

Between 1972 and 2014, Vahey was employed at the following schools:

Southbank International School, London, United Kingdom: 2009-2013;

Escuela Campo Alegre, Caracas, Venezuela: 2002-2009;

Jakarta International School, Jakarta, Indonesia: 1992-2002;

Saudi Aramco Schools, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia: 1980-1992;

American Community School, Athens, Greece: 1978-1980;

Passargad School, Ahwaz, Iran: 1976-1978;

American School of Madrid, Madrid, Spain: 1975-1976;

American Community School of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon: 1973-1975;

Tehran American School, Tehran, Iran: 1972-1973.
